You should visit the castles and fortress Alambra (from Arabic means red fortress). It was constructed in the middle of the XIV century by Moorish leaders. Its exceptional architecture is complemented with wild flowers and fountains. In the fortress is the palace of Charles V - Renaissance building, quite advanced for its time. The Cathedral of Granada is an impressive building, a mix of architectural styles, which was built over 181 years. There are many churches and basilicas, which you can see, but also there are many parks and gardens.
